Solaris UNIX Systems Engineer to work for a leading SaaS based in central London providing services to banks and financial institutions around the globe. A great opportunity for the right skilled individual to join a SME that has rapid expansion plans during the coming 12 months. You shall be a competent UNIX engineer with good communication skills for both internal and external customers, a friendly team player with at least 3 years Solaris system administration experience. This is a varied, interesting and challenging role where you will have exposure to lots of different technology. You must be a doer capable of hitting the ground running using your own initiative and striving for excellence in every aspect of your work taking on responsibility within this dynamic environment. Technical skills required include but not limited to; Solaris 10, Windows, XP, MS Server, Linux, Zones, ZFS, Application Support, Shell Scripts, Networking, Security Issues, VPN, Firewalls, Samba etc etc. An opportunity to get involved with lots of varied project work/processes through the whole project lifecycle.
